I, Robot Review

Will Smith does not run in the same circle as I do, but I have seen him out and about several times. He rolls with a very deep crew. I myself like to keep things low key; dark suit, dark sunglasses, Maybach 62, and 2 or 3 martial arts specialists. I also pay for everything in cash (I carry anywhere from $1,000 to $9,000 in one hundred dollar bills). People who party with their American Express Black are just begging for trouble.

Anyway, let me go on record as saying that I, Robot is Will Smiths best film and defining role to date. Imagine how surprised and happy I was when the closing credits rolled and I hadn't seen Martin Lawrence, Bernie Mack, or Cedric. I, Robot is a good film - the story is told very well and Willy does a darn good job with the acting. A lot of credit has to go to the writers who did not try to urbanise the movie with a bunch of rap talk. I hate that.

Oh, one problem- Let's try to get a dame that's good to look at next time. I know the point was to have a woman act somewhat robotic, but this broad was as robotic as they come. In fact, I think I was more attracted to a couple of the robots. I'm just sayin'.

Hostage Review

Bruce Willis is just one of those guys that a real man can easily identify with. Like myself, I believe that Bruce does a lot of his own stunts and this is commendable. That aside, I think that B.W. made a bad choice by starring in Hostage. In the beginning, the film had a Die Hard feel to it, but that soon faded away and Bruce Willis ends up battling some teenage stoners. C'mon, where's the freakin' terrorists? I was actually just about the holler those exact words, but luckily I remembered that my date for that evening MAY have been 1/2 Persian and I caught myself before I said something that I would have regret.
