War of the Worlds Review

Why would Tom Cruise date that no-talent non-budding actress Katie Homely? I was smoking cuban cigars with my rat pack friends when we screened War of the Worlds. A lot of the talk centered around why Spielberg took a great story and did very little with it. This film could have easily been a 'made for T.V.' production - believe me, I've been in several. A lot of people have a sour taste in their mouths because of Tom Cruise's latest anticts with scientology and whatnot.

Bottom line: Actors should act and directors should make movies, not try to fill seats with big name actors and overblown re-makes.
